• All registration information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete

• You will not access the Services through automated or non-human means

You may register to use the Services via GitHub OAuth, Google OAuth, or Magic Link email authentication. You agree to keep your credentials confidential and are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to remove or change a username if we determine it is inappropriate or objectionable.

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. You agree not to:

• Systematically retrieve data to create a database or directory without written permission
• Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users

• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

• Attempt to manipulate tool rankings, star counts, or any metrics displayed on the platform

• Impersonate a tool maintainer or creator when submitting through the Creator Listing form
• Use automated bots or scripts to create accounts, submit contributions, or interact with the platform

The Services allow you to submit tool contributions and other content ("Contributions"). When you create or submit Contributions, you represent and warrant that:

• Your Contributions do not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
• You are the creator or have the necessary rights to submit such Contributions
• Your Contributions are not false, inaccurate, or misleading
• Your Contributions are not spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material
• Your Contributions are not obscene, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
• Your Contributions do not violate any applicable law or regulation
• Your Contributions do not violate anyone's privacy rights

By posting Contributions through the Services, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, use, copy, reproduce, publish, translate, and distribute such Contributions for any purpose.

You retain full ownership of your Contributions and all associated intellectual property rights. We do not assert ownership over your Contributions.

We have the right, in our sole discretion, to edit, recategorize, or delete any Contributions at any time without notice.

You may link your account with your GitHub or Google accounts. By doing so, you grant us permission to access certain profile information from those platforms as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your relationship with GitHub and Google is governed solely by your agreements with those providers. We are not responsible for any Social Network Content or for the practices of those third-party providers.

You can disconnect your linked accounts at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at contact@ossdiscovery.site.

These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of India. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India for any disputes arising in connection with these Legal Terms.

Informal Negotiations:

Before initiating arbitration, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days. Informal negotiations begin upon written notice to contact@ossdiscovery.site.

Binding Arbitration:

If informal negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be India. Proceedings shall be conducted in English. The governing law shall be the substantive law of India.

Restrictions:

All arbitration shall be limited to the individual dispute between the parties. No class action arbitration is permitted.

Exceptions:

The following are not subject to arbitration: disputes concerning intellectual property rights; claims related to theft, piracy, or privacy violations; and claims for injunctive relief.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on the Services at any time without prior notice.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any loss, damage, liability, or claim arising from: your Contributions; your use of the Services; your breach of these Legal Terms; your violation of any third party's rights; or any harmful act toward other users.

We maintain data you transmit to the Services for managing performance and your use of the Services. You are solely responsible for all data you transmit. We have no liability for any loss or corruption of such data.

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any tool data displayed on the platform. Tool metrics such as star counts, fork counts, and last updated dates are fetched periodically and may not reflect real-time data.

By submitting a tool through our contribution forms, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge. You grant OSS Discovery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and publish submitted content on the platform. OSS Discovery reserves the right to reject, modify, or remove any submission at our sole discretion. Approved submissions become part of the OSS Discovery database and may be displayed publicly.

OSS Discovery does not claim ownership of any open-source tools listed on the platform. All tools remain the property of their respective creators and maintainers. Tool listings on OSS Discovery are for informational and discovery purposes only.
